Mounting the Fan

Choose airflow direction

The arrows on the housing show the air flow and rotation direction of the fan.

Connecting the Fan

* The fanspeed can only be changed via voltage and not via PWM control..

Controlling the Fan

The speed of the Fan can be adjusted via the PWM signal of the motherboard. Please follow these steps to adjust the settings on your motherboard..

With the PST extension cable, you can connect multiple fans via a single header. However, we recommend limiting the number of fans per header to 5, as the current may be limited to 1.0 A per header (see your motherboard's manual). The speed output is from the first fan in the daisy chain.

To control more than 5 fans via a single connection, we recommend the ARCTIC Case Fan Hub, this has an external power supply which increases the limit considerably.
