Remove the cooler completely, have a screwdriver +PH2 and the spare parts handy.
Attention
Place the cooler on a table. Keep the pump unit above the radiator during the entire process to avoid loss of coolant.
Do not replace the cold plate while the cooler is still installed in the PC case.
Remove the cold plate and gasket
Attention
Keep the longer screws to use again when reassembling.
Discard the shorter screws.
Discard the cold plate
Discard the gasket
Make sure the gasket is aligned correctly.
Refill the coolant, if necessary.
The coolant should be clearly visible in the three ports but filling to the top is not necessary.
Caution
We strongly advise against replacing the coolant. The coolant used in our AiO coolers is best suited for the internal components and has been tested for longevity. The use of incorrect or mismatched coolants can cause a chemical reaction with materials used inside the cooling circuit, which can lead to critical damage. The replacement or use of another coolant will void the manufacturer’s warranty.
Fill the 3 ports one by one
Install the cold plate
Be aware of the correct orientation of the cooling plate.
Attention
Make sure that there is no gap between the cooling plate and the plastic case.
Tighten the screws crosswise with 0.4 to 0.5 Nm. This is roughly equivalent to "hand-tight", do not apply excessive force so that the screws are not overtightened. The lower screws need a little more tightening force because they are cutting a new thread.
Carefully wipe off any water that may have splashed onto the pump.
Reinstall the cooler
Carefully remove the thermal paste residue with MX Cleaner.
Apply thermal paste.
